The mix that made us famous - our #1 seller. In 1974 and recently married, my wife and I came up with this mix of beans that was so beautiful, we did not want to cook it! We gathered up all of the beans that we liked. Each for its own unique flavor. When we were finished there were 16 beans and thus the name. No other bean company can tell you why they came up with 16, or 14, or 12, because they are all copies of our famous product. We bagged the product and took to our neighborhood store. We placed a dozen packages on the shelf. No recipe, no ingredients, no UPC code.... The rest is history! All natural seasonings, herbs and flavorings. Versatile as a homestyle bean soup or just add spaghetti sauce and pasta for a great minestrone.
